Details: Wine Spectator’s Senior Editor James Molesworth called the 2008 Syrah, “A fresh, forward style, with friendly, silky plum, cherry and violet notes. The lingering finish lets the toasty vanilla edge play out. Drink now.” Wine Spectator editors review more than 15,000 wines each year in blind tastings. According to the Wine Spectator Website, Every issue  contains from 400 to more than 1,000 wine reviews with detailed tasting notes and analysis. A wine with a ranking of  87 is considered to be “Very good: a wine with special qualities.”
